This work deals with images I have been interested in for a long time, such as bus stops, formal gardens, picnics and drapery.

I am working more from imagination and relying less on observed reality. I have also adopted a bolder, more spontaneous approach which I think is a direct result of also working in fresco. Altered colours, multi-perspectival views and see through images give a theatrical feel that is both fascinating and unnerving.
